The following Terms & Conditions are prepared on behalf of POPUP SPORTS PTY LTD (ACN 147 769 051) (“POPUP SPORTS”) trading as "Bubble Soccer 2U" and its directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, insurers, spectators, equipment suppliers, and volunteers; all POPUP SPORTS event sponsors, organizers, promoters, directors, officials, property owners, and advertisers; governmental bodies and/or municipal agencies whose property and/or personnel are used; and any or all parent, subsidiary or affiliate companies, licensees, officers, directors, partners, board members, supervisors, insurers, agents, equipment suppliers, and representatives of any of the foregoing including but not limited to Eastern Indoor Sports Centre Pty Ltd.
DEPOSITS, PAYMENTS & ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Your booking will be confirmed once we have received a verbal or written confirmation of details and any requested deposit has been paid. By booking and participating you and your guests agree and accept the Terms and Conditions outlined in this document.
Bubble Soccer 2u requires a deposit to secure your booking in most instances, this is usually around 30% of the overall booking fee. The final payment is due within two days of your event or agreement may be struck for payment on the day.
Weather Related Cancelation
Bubble Soccer 2u will liaise with you in the lead up to your event about the potential weather forecast. In the event of extreme heat, wind, storm activity or heavy rain and lack of an alternative venue or date, the event may be canceled, in which case any money paid is fully refundable.
If you need to cancel your event, please be aware of the following...
- Outside of 7 days of the event, your deposit will be refunded, less any incurred venue costs.
- Within 7 days, no deposits will be refunded. If your event has been paid in full, a refund of the difference between the total amount and the deposit required will be applied.

Bookings & Cancellation
In the event of wet weather, outdoor Bubble Soccer, Nerf Warz, Soccer Darts & Archery Warz bookings may still proceed except in the event of severe weather (e.g. heavy rain, high winds >32km/hr and/or lightening). All weather related cancellations will result in a full refund of your payment. Should you need to cancel, within 7 days of your event will incur loss of your deposit. Cancellation within 48 hours is non-refundable. Full payment is to be paid 7 days prior to your booking.
Bubble Soccer 2u or Venue Cancellation
In the incredibly rare instance that we have to pull out of your event, a full refund will apply. We will try and give as much notice as possible.
If the agreed venue has to cancel our booking for any reason, a full refund will also apply, unless an agreed alternative can be sourced.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK
By participating in a game provided by Bubble Soccer 2U, players play at their own risk and agree to the following...
I acknowledge that Bubble Soccer is high contact and extreme sporting activity that carries with it inherent risks of physical injury. Inherent risks are risks that cannot be eliminated completely (without changing the challenging nature of the Bubble Soccer) regardless of the care and precautions taken by POPUP SPORTS (hereafter used when referring to the corporate entity and protected parties). I also understand that the Bubble Soccer is extremely strenuous and further acknowledge the accompanying risks and dangers generally present in such activities. I understand and acknowledge that the inherent risks include, but are not limited to: 1) contact or collision with persons or objects (e.g., collision with indoor nets and goals), contact with other participants, and contact with natural or man-made fixed objects or obstacles); 2) equipment related hazards (e.g., broken, defective or inadequate competition equipment, unexpected equipment failure, imperfect course conditions); 3) weather-related hazards (e.g., extreme heat, extreme cold, humidity, ice, rain, fog); 4) inadequate first aid and/or emergency measures; and 5) judgment- and/or behavior-related problems (e.g., erratic or inappropriate co-participant behavior, erratic or inappropriate behavior by the participant, errors in judgment by personnel working the event).
I further understand and acknowledge that any of these risks and others, not specifically named, may cause injury or injuries that may be categorized as minor, serious, or catastrophic. Minor injuries are common and include, but are not limited to: scrapes, bruises, sprains, nausea, and cuts. Serious injuries are less common, but do sometimes occur. They include, but are not limited to: property loss or damage, broken bones, torn ligaments, concussions, exposure, heat-related illness, mental stress or exhaustion, infection, and concussions. Catastrophic injuries are rare; however, we feel that our participants should be aware of the possibility. These injuries can include permanent disabilities, spinal injuries and paralysis, stroke, heart attack, and even death.
I understand that it is my responsibility to inspect the field, facilities, equipment, and areas to be used, and if I believe or become aware that any are unsafe or pose unreasonable risks, I agree to immediately notify appropriate personnel. By participating in the event, I am acknowledging that I have found the course, facilities, equipment, and areas to be used to be safe and acceptable for participation. I accept full and sole responsibility for the condition and adequacy of my equipment.
I understand fully the inherent risks involved in Bubble Soccer and assert that I am willingly and voluntarily participating in the event. I have read the preceding paragraphs and acknowledge that 1) I know the nature of the Bubble Soccer; 2) I understand the demands of this activity relative to my physical condition; and 3) I appreciate the potential impact of the types of injuries that may result from the Bubble Soccer. I hereby assert that I knowingly assume all of the inherent risks of the activity and take full responsibility for any and all damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses that I incur as a result of participating in the Bubble Soccer. In short, I acknowledge that I am participating in the Bubble Soccer entirely at my own risk.
LOSS & DAMAGES
The client is responsible for and agrees to indemnify Bubble Soccer 2u for any loss of property, damage or expense caused to Bubble Soccer 2u and/or its property by guests attending the event.
The client agrees to repair or rectify any damages made by the client or their guests, and to cover any additional costs that may be incurred. Caregivers are responsible for minors.
PROVIDING YOUR OWN VENUE
If you provide your own facility or are organising one for the event, it must be suitable to host our activities game. Please communicate with us in the lead up to the event to confirm that this is the case.
A relatively flat, clean surface without any sharp or pointy objects or foreign matter that could cause injuries is required. Appropriate areas generally include indoor basketball facilities, synthetic and grassed surfaces. Gravel, stones, asphalt, sand or areas containing wood aren’t suitable.
Please include access to the venue for setup and pack-up, this will vary based on the size of your event, but in general is at least 30 minutes either side.
If you are playing in a public park you might want to book or enquire with the council. Otherwise public spaces work after the principle of first-come-first-serve unless booked by sports teams. Some public parks are at the discretion of council rangers.
SAFETY & CODE OF CONDUCT
A Bubble Soccer 2u supervisor will be on location at all times. They have final say in all decisions.
Correct clothing must be worn at all times while playing in our bubble activities. Closed toe shoes with a flat sole are advised, but on the right surfaces barefeet may be used if all players agree. Strictly no thongs, sandals or studded boots. All sharp or breakable objects worn or in pockets (e.g. keys, phone and sharp piercings, sunglasses etc)
- Please refrain from kicking the bubbles deliberately.
- No eating food or chewing gum while inside the Bubble.
- Please avoid playing while under the influence of drugs and alcohol
- Excessive swearing or crude remarks will not be tolerated.
- Advise Bubble Soccer 2u staff immediately of any problems with your straps or bubble
- Players are to remain strapped into their bubbles at all times on the playing arena
- Spectators are to remain outside the playing arena at all times and are not to push players in the bubbles
- Please let other players return to their feet before bumping them
- No coordinated high speed collisions from long distances
- Raise your hand at any time you need assistance and if possible make your way off the arena before doing so, a team member will come to assist you.
- Please do not deliberately bump from behind or when a player is clearly not expecting it
Deliberate attempts to damage any equipment, property or person will lead to ejection of the participant and potential immediate cancelation of the booking. The person will also be required to pay any costs associated with the damage.
